About

I like research that has somewhere to go.

I am a biomedical engineer and data scientist interested in developing machine-learning methods that can translate into better clinical decisions and more useful medical technologies.

My work has moved across computational oncology, biomedical NLP, molecular modeling, physiological signal analysis and translational device development. That range is intentional: I am most interested in problems where computation, engineering and medicine have to meet rather than remain separate.

I trained in biomedical sciences and biomedical engineering in Barcelona, later specialized in health data science, and continued graduate training in translational medicine at UC Berkeley–UCSF as a Fulbright Scholar. I am currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Going forward, I am particularly interested in multimodal clinical AI, precision oncology, medical imaging and research that takes generalization, validation and clinical deployment seriously.

Editing note: make this page more personal once the structure is final — one paragraph about what originally pulled you toward medicine/engineering is enough. Avoid turning it into a second CV.
